RULES AND REGULATIONS

General Provisions

1. These rules and regulations define the conditions under which Academic and Research Television (ATVN) gives users approval to download author material transmitted via www.atvn.pl
2. ATVN reserves the right to amend the provisions of these Rules and Regulations. Binding Rules and Regulations are displayed each time material(s) is/are about to be downloaded.
3. Downloading of material is only possible after the Rules and Regulations have been viewed and accepted. Zasady pobierania utworu lub utworów
4. Downloading of author material transmitted by ATVN is free of charge.
5. Downloading, copying or the making available of author programmes broadcast on ATVN is only permitted for teaching and academic purposes, understood as the presentation of spectacular scientific achievement and of persons related to them.
6. Downloading, copying or the making available of author programmes broadcast on ATVN for financial gain is prohibited. The use of author programmes broadcast on ATVN for commercial purposes shall be regarded as breach of author personal rights and maker/producer asset rights i.e. of those who assisted in the making of the broadcast programme. In such cases the ICM UW will make claims under the provisions of the Copyright and Related Rights Act of 4 February 1994.
7. ATVN shall not be held responsible for the quality of the Internet connection when downloading material, nor shall it be responsible for any break in connection or for the quality of the downloaded material.

   Permitted use of protected material

8. I hereby accept ICM UW copyright and asset rights to material (programmes) located in the ATVN Archives.
9. No permission or fee is required for personal use of material previously broadcast. Further dissemination of material is prohibited, be it in the original language or in translation.
10. Personal use of material cannot violate normal principles of use or damage the rightful interests of the maker.
11. ATVN shall not be held responsible in the event of a person downloading material and violating the normal principles of use or damaging the rightful interests of the maker.
12. Public use of ATVN materials is permitted exclusively via www.atvn.pl accessed via the Internet.
13. I declare that I shall not edit, duplicate, sell or use for commercial reasons any materials, in entirety or in part, submitted for personal use.

    Organisational principles

14. ATVN reserves itself the right to introduce a daily limit on the amount of downloaded material.
15. ATVN reserves itself the right to block the downloading of chosen materials for internal organisational reasons connected with the functioning of ATVN.
16. Concerning the processing of data connected with the downloading of ATVN copyright material it is necessary to fill in a Personal Details Form. Personal and tele-address data are exclusively for ATVN internal process purposes and shall not be submitted further. The Personal Details Form shall appear once the Rules and Regulations have been accepted.
